Great party with magic and games for Mohamed, who was 9.
Mohamed and his friends wanted me to show them a magic trick that they could do themselves. I showed them how to do a card trick. They were very engaged and interested and felt proud of themselves when they master their skill. Mohamed was looking forward to show the card trick to his family later on.
Magic develops problem solving, asking questions, confidence and social skills in children. Adults and children often view themselves and their environments as fixed, a singular reality. Magic makes us wonder if there could be a different perspective to open up possibilities for creativity and growth.
Magic makes us wonder and makes life more interesting. After the magic show the children had some food and we went out to the garden to play games.
