On Sunday I was in Streatham for a party to celebrate Chesa's First Communion. The party was in a church hall with many families from the local Philippine community. There was a large group of children of different ages ranging from little toddlers to teens.
When I started the magic show all the children and adults wanted to see the magic. I had an audience of over a hundred!. One trick I performed on Chelsa's dad was to de-stress him using a magic belt and some unlikely tools. It was funny seeing the amazement on the children's faces! Another trick involved water and balloons and the trick they enjoyed the most was when I was able to predict how Chesa would use colours to paint a picture. I was able to reveal a picture just the way Chelsa had created it from a closed envelope. Everyone was amazed and intrigued.
After the magic the children wanted to dance and I provided a kids disco with colourful lights and their favourite music.
Chesa's family was so kind and welcoming. I was happy to meet such wonderful people and share their celebrations.
