The Place Youth Club was started in April 2003 and received no funds from the government. It therefore has to be self-sufficient. We have been meeting on a Friday and Saturday evening with regular attendances of about 25+. There are five focus areas that we try to cover. These are; Service, Citizenship, Games/Sports, Creativity/Skills, and Adventure/Survival. The first hour is usually based on one of these themes and after that there is free time for table tennis, pool, table football, games.
